Are you an experienced and ambitious Podiatrist keen to develop your career at Band 7 level? We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Podiatrist to join the East Area Podiatry and Orthotics Service within Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. This unique role offers a varied caseload across specialist foot ulcer services and musculoskeletal podiatry.
Main duties of the job include being part of a highly motivated team, having at least five years NHS post registration experience, working independently in both community and acute settings, delivering highly specialist seamless podiatric care to individuals and groups; supporting management of complex cases and promoting empowerment of individuals to self-manage their conditions.
You will provide inpatient podiatry provision to patients with foot problems; clinically support the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice, acting as a source of expertise. You will be expected to demonstrate specialist knowledge and a high level of personal skill and be responsible for the training, supervision and performance assessment of staff. A sound theoretical knowledge base and evidence-based practice are essential.

Person specification
- Essential Criteria: Degree or equivalent in Podiatry, HCPC, Experience across a range of Podiatry specialties, Demonstrate effective leadership and management skills.
- Desirable criteria: Completion of diabetic foot module.

- Essential Criteria: Ability to demonstrate the personal qualities and professional competencies required of all managers and leaders in line with local competence frameworks as evidenced in day to day work and through discussion at PADR.
- Desirable criteria: Ability to speak Welsh.
