The post holder will have professional responsibility for a defined population/caseload and lead the delivery & organisation of the Public Health programme, delivering the nursing component of the School Health Programme to a school age population within a defined number of schools.
Main duties of the job:
- Based within the community setting, the practitioner is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care offered to families, with particular attention to safeguarding children.
- Responsible for coordinating and delegating work within a skill mix team.
Qualifications:
- Essential criteria: SCPHN degree or equivalent in School Nursing with current NMC registration.
- The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
