Due to continued investment in the Pharmacy Department, we are currently undergoing an extensive expansion of pharmacy roles. An exciting opportunity has arisen for "bank" pharmacy assistants to work in our busy pharmacy department. We are looking for dynamic, motivated individuals to join our friendly team to work weekends and bank holidays. Previous experience of working within a store keeping environment, along with customer service experience, dealing with patients and public, would be advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. You will be required to undertake the QCF Level 2 in Pharmacy Services. For this reason, applicants should be educated to GCSE grade C or equivalent in Mathematics and English language.

Main duties of the job:

  • Dispensing medication/prescriptions
  • Receiving deliveries
  • Stock control
  • Supply of medication to wards/departments
  • Scanning/filing prescriptions
  • Reception
  • General housekeeping

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
