We have an exciting opportunity to join our Children’s & Young People’s Management Team at a senior level. This role is exclusively for staff currently employed by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The position is based in the North East of Wales covering Flintshire and Wrexham. Applications may be submitted in Welsh; Welsh or English applicants are welcome. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
Main Duties
- To effectively manage the budget and allocate resources for the service.
- Particular emphasis will be placed on managing performance, quality and resource utilisation, with a view to securing delivery of consistently high quality and safe clinical services within available resources.
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- NMC Registration
- Specialist Community Practitioner – e.g. Health Visitor/School Nurse
- Degree level qualification or Post Graduate qualification at Masters Level / Knowledge equivalent to Masters Level
Desirable criteria
- Masters Degree in a relevant field
- Specialist therapeutic qualification
- Teaching qualification
- Management Qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
- Management Experience at band 7 equivalent or above
- Service development, Child Protection/Safeguarding children
- Producing and developing policies and practice guidelines
