We are seeking a well‑organised and motivated Administrator to join our CMATS team in Wrexham. This role provides essential administrative support to clinicians and service leads, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of physiotherapy services. There are potentially full or part‑time positions available.
Main duties of the job:
- Provide administrative support to the CMATS service, contributing to the effective day‑to‑day running of the service.
- Process referrals and manage patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and cancellations, in line with local procedures.
- Act as a first point of contact for patients, carers, and professionals, dealing with enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records on electronic and paper systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with information governance requirements.
- Prepare clinic lists and provide routine administrative support to clinicians as required.
- Monitor waiting lists and appointment outcomes, escalating any issues in accordance with agreed processes.
- Work effectively with administrative and clinical colleagues to support a positive patient journey.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Qualifications:
- Good general standard of education (e.g., GCSE, O Level or equivalent in Maths and English)
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent knowledge/experience
- Basic IT skills

- Previous customer service experience

- Understanding of Health Board Policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Welsh Government waiting times guidelines
- Welsh language skills (understanding, speaking, reading and writing)
- Competent in the use of patient administration systems
