We are looking for a talented and organised Physiotherapist. The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy, HCPC Registration, significant post graduate experience with demonstrable experience in related clinical field as well as proven post-graduate clinical and leadership competencies. You will also have excellent organisational skills and an ability to problem solve multiple issues within a fast-paced custodial context.
Responsibilities
- Development and delivery of high quality service within Physiotherapy
- Assessment and management of complex patients
- Develop opportunities for practice which extends the scope of traditional Physiotherapy
- Training and support of Physiotherapists and support staff to deliver high quality, evidence based service provision
- Governance arrangements within physiotherapy

Main duties of the job
- To take a clinical lead role in the assessment and treatment of patients where the caseload will comprise of mainly patients with highly complex presentations. This will be through highly specialist / extended scope clinical knowledge and application, audit, research and education.
- It will require liaison with a diverse number of multidisciplinary specialties and integrated working with other disciplines and agencies.
- To work as an autonomous, clinical highly Specialist Physiotherapist.
- To work with the Advanced Practitioner therapist to develop and deliver a high quality clinical service.
- Leading by example; provide a high standard of specialist assessment and treatment of patients.
- Using evidence based principles / current best practice and advanced clinical skills and clinical reasoning assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
