We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Band 7 Clinical Site Manager. The successful candidate will act as an expert clinical leader that utilises competent professional knowledge and skills and will deliver quality driven safe efficient patient flow management within Wrexham Maelor Hospital, BCUHB. This post is a fixed‑term secondment for 12 months due to maternity cover. If you are interested you must obtain permission from your current line manager before applying. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, although Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job:
- To facilitate the co‑ordination of Health Board wide bed management, complying with Health Board Policies in relation to the placement of patients.
- Maintain an accurate bed state, and monitor actual/potential occupancy at all times.
- Prioritise the movement of patients in collaboration with ward staff according to clinical needs.
- Co‑ordinate the flow of patients through the in‑patient system to allow sufficient capacity and safe placement of emergency admissions, and assist with the achievement of Health Board targets.
