Contracts for Innovation Cymru is looking for a Centre Support Officer to work with Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board, supporting the Business Development and Project Management Teams. The role is critical to the successful development, delivery, and evaluation of projects aligned with Welsh Government strategies.
Main duties of the job
The Centre Support Officer will promote, develop, and implement projects that identify and resolve unmet needs and challenges within health and the wider public sector. The role involves working with clinical, administrative, and technical staff from Welsh Health Boards, NHS, Welsh Government, Local Authorities, businesses, third sector and academia. Welsh language skills are desirable, but English and Welsh speakers are equally welcome.

You will be part of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales, the largest health organisation in Wales, providing a full range of primary, community, mental health, acute and elective hospital services to a population of around 700,000 across North Wales. Qualifications
- Educated to Diploma level or equivalent level of work experience and knowledge
- Evidence of continual professional development
- Knowledge of one or more business/clinical systems
Desirable qualifications
- PRINCE II Foundation
- RSA II/III or equivalent qualification
Experience
- Significant experience working within a demanding/high-intensity administrative setting
- Experience of raising issues and risks
- Able to use own initiative and judgement to analyse and resolve complex problems
- Ability to deliver deadlines on a wide range of administrative and project processes
Desirable experience
- Experience of proactively challenging staff and influencing them to change
- Exposure to projects and project management

- Ability to produce reports that convey complex issues in everyday language
