This post is Fixed term/Secondment until 31.03.2027 to meet the needs of the service. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated person, who will provide accurate and effective administrative support for Children and Young People in the East area. The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, a good telephone manner and be able to communicate with people at all levels. They will be able to work on their own initiative and be efficient and organised with their own workload. They will have previous experience of working in a busy office, with a high number of distractions and conflicting deadlines. The successful candidate will have good keyboard skills, experience of Microsoft packages, and demonstrate a professional and sensitive manner, maintaining confidentiality at all times. Audio typing experience is desirable.

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) & Neurodevelopmental Team (ND) Admin Assistant will provide an efficient and flexible service support to the CAMHS & ND Multi-Disciplinary teams. This will include copy typing, electronic/paper diary management and arranging appointments. The post-holder will also be expected to undertake reception duties occasionally. By the nature of the duties, the post-holder will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with patients, carers, relatives, medical staff and other visitors to the unit, in person and in writing, with courtesy and discretion at all times. The Admin Manager is generally available for reference.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
