Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work alongside our friendly and motivated team of nurses and health professionals on a surgical assessment unit and surgical wards with the Clinical Support Worker Team.
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is the largest health organisation in Wales, providing a full range of primary, community, mental health, acute and elective hospital services for a population of around 700,000 across North Wales.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the systematic assessment of patients admitted to SDEC and our surgical wards by undertaking a series of diagnostic tests as advised by doctors and registered nurses on the SDEC/wards.
These will include blood tests, ECG and any other tests as directed.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Dynamic and passionate about helping others or seeking a fresh start.
- Welsh speaking ability is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
