Are you an enthusiastic and highly motivated Nurse who is ready for a challenge, the East Site Stoma / Colorectal Nursing team is seeking a highly self-motivated practitioner, with a desire to promote and develop clinical excellence in clinical practice. The successful post holder will join an established Stoma / Colorectal Nursing team and provide nursing support to inpatient / outpatient areas.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to deliver patient care complementary to that offered by Doctors and other health care professionals within the field of Stoma / Colorectal Care as part of a multi disciplinary team. The successful post holder will act as part of the stoma care nursing team and support point both in-patient and out-patient services to ensure patients receive appropriate management/treatment, aide their pathway and contribute to decreased length of stay.
The post holder will work collaboratively as a member of the Stoma / Colorectal team to ensure both elective / emergency patient receive holistic assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of their care needs.

You will need the following:
- Registered Nurse with current Registration with the N.M.C.
- Post Registration Education, a Diploma / Degree Level.
- Post-Registration nursing experience at Band 5 level or above.
- Demonstrate involvement in change management and successful implementation of practice / quality improvements.
- Excellent Organisational and Leadership skills.
- Experience of multi professional working / working effectively with other stakeholders.
