Job Overview
Are you a dietitian looking to develop your skills in an exciting dietetic department? Want to live and work in an outstandingly beautiful area with beaches and mountains on your doorstep? Then come and join our dynamic team based in North East Wales! We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic dietitian to join our friendly team of over 50 Dietitians, dietetic assistants, and admin support staff who deliver services in Wrexham, Flintshire, and across North Wales. Quality improvement initiatives are welcomed, and you will be encouraged and supported to consider improved and more effective ways of working. We deliver clinical placements for students and are part of a wider Dietetic Team working across the three Areas of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. Applications will be considered for final-year student dietitians, with options to start at Band 4 while waiting for HCPC registration.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will contribute to providing high-quality nutrition and dietetic care within BCUHB, supporting the achievement of the Health Board’s mission and quality objectives. This includes delivering safe, efficient, and effective dietetic therapy services in accordance with registration and the Code of Practice of the BDA.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally encouraged to apply.
