Main duties of the job
- To work as an integral part of the clinical community dietetics team.
- You will be responsible for a caseload which includes outpatient clinics, care homes, and home visits caring for patients who are both orally and enterally fed.
- Your job plan will include clinics and some group education.
- You will have access to support from a dietetic assistant, who will be able to help with booking appointments, reviews and resource management.
- The health board is a Nutricia contract, and you will be responsible for managing your home enterally fed patients who receive their feed and equipment via Nutricia Homeward.
- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
- Quality Improvement work is essential to ensure continued service improvements are identified and encouraged within the team.
- The role will also require supervision for junior staff, dietetic assistants and student training will be an integral part of the job.
