An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an Emergency Department Receptionist to join the Emergency Care Directorate’s Administration Team at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. This post is a fixed‑term secondment for 12 months until 28/6/2027 due to maternity cover. It is available only to staff currently employed by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. Applicants must obtain permission from their current line manager prior to applying.
Main Duties
- Provide an efficient front‑line service to the Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) unit within the Emergency Quadrant.
- Deliver a high standard of customer care to patients, relatives and carers while working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive and highly confidential patient information with courtesy and discretion.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
