We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join the Medical Equipment Library in Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. This important role meets the needs of patients across the hospital by providing medical equipment that is working well and ready to use. IV pumps, used to give medicines and fluids into patients' veins, are an example. You will also help staff with queries and signpost information and training when required. The Medical Equipment Library is the best of its kind in North Wales and you will be part of a valuable service to patients.

Main Duties of the Job
- The role is physically active and varied, delivering and collecting equipment for wards across the hospital and making it ready to be used again.
- This involves checking that devices are working correctly, putting battery equipment on charge, and cleaning devices in line with Health Board policies.
- Basic safety testing of returned equipment is also involved, including troubleshooting basic equipment problems and reporting faulty medical devices.
The Equipment Library offers full service during office hours Monday to Friday. We are looking for someone to work full time (22.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday, and to work well independently with remote support from the Medical Devices Team.

Person Specification
- GCSE level or similar in Maths and English.
- Desirable criteria: GCSE at C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Experience and knowledge of a healthcare setting.
