An exciting opportunity has arisen to take on the role of Oncology Clinical Specialist in the North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre in Glan Clwyd Hospital. This is offered as a developmental post starting at B6 and moving to B7 once all required criteria has been met.
The post holder will be required to:
- Work as an autonomous, extended scope practitioner, with an extended scope of physiotherapy practice to work within a team to deliver a clinical specialist service to patients.
- Be responsible for the delivery and development of practice in the specialist area of Oncology medicine within physiotherapy.
- Work closely with the MDT within the NWCTC as well as with the Physiotherapy Service.
The physiotherapy service in BCUHB offers a whole career pathway to Band 8A as a clinical advanced practitioner. Service improvement and development is encouraged and all staff have access to regular supervision and training. This is an opportunity to work in a large established and supportive team in a beautiful part of the UK.
