A permanent and a 12 month secondment role full time position has arisen for the role of Assistant Service Managers within the Surgical Management Team at Glan Clwyd Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support in the achievement of key operational and strategic objectives for the Directorate, contributing where appropriate to the production of business cases and operational plans. The post holder, as part of the Directorate Management Team, will also provide support to achieving standards laid out by the Welsh Government and has a key role in ensuring waiting time targets are met. This will involve monitoring waiting times, capacity and demand, identifying problem areas and working with the Operational Management Team to resolve issues and ensure a coâordinated approach to the delivery of services. The post holder will ensure that routine and adâhoc information is provided to support the monitoring and achievement of all performance related targets. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
