We are looking for a staff nurse to join the Ophthalmology Unit at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB). The role will deliver care for patients with eye conditions across a range of settings including the Eye Day Care Unit, Theatres, Specialist Intravitreal department, Eye Outpatient Department and Casualty service. You will assess and treat unscheduled care patients with acute symptoms, and support those with long‑term chronic conditions which may lead to irreversible sight loss without active intervention. Our primary focus is on positive treatment intervention with a high volume patient flow in all ophthalmology departments.
