The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
The post holder will provide comprehensive and high quality receptionist/telephonist service. The post holder will work in a challenging environment that undergoes constant changes and will need to exercise judgement and use a combination of skills to deal with day-to-day issues. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate a sensitive and caring attitude that is client-focused and maintain a calm and organised approach when working under pressure.
Main duties of the job
- Deal with patient enquiries in person and over the telephone appropriately, efficiently, courteously, promptly and discreetly, recognising the different needs of individuals.
- Ensure registration details of all temporary/new patients are recorded and documented and ensure patients have an understanding of the hours of operation and procedures by going through the practice leaflet with them.
- Work flexibly with other practice staff to ensure that the surgery is adequately staffed at all times to meet service needs.
- Other duties as may be required by the nature of general medical practice.
The ability to speak and write in Welsh is essential.
