The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 £ per year.
To provide clerical support to the Child Health Department mainly within the school-age department. The role involves:
- Filing of essential paperwork into physical notes, including clinic letters, sensitive reports, and consent forms.
- Creating new Child Health records, both electronically and manually.
- Data inputting on the Child Health computer system.
- Updating child health records.
- Photocopying and distribution of letters.
- Opening post.
Strict confidentiality will be maintained at all times.
Main duties of the job include:
- Providing clerical and administrative support to the Child Health Department, primarily within the School-Age Service.
- Filing clinic letters, consent forms, sensitive reports, and other essential documentation into patient notes.
- Creating and maintaining Child Health records both electronically and manually.
- Inputting, updating, and verifying information on the Child Health computer system.
- Ensuring patient records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Photocopying, preparing, and distributing correspondence and other departmental documentation.
- Checking letters and documentation for accuracy before distribution.
- Opening, sorting, and distributing incoming post.
- Retrieving and storing patient records in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Handling confidential and sensitive information in line with NHS policies and data protection requirements.
- Assisting with general office administration to support the efficient running of the Child Health Department.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and healthcare professionals to ensure effective service delivery.
- Maintaining high standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy at all times.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
