Are you ready to be part of one of the largest digital projects ever undertaken by the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board? Do you have senior-level product management experience and the ability to demonstrate this in a complex, multidisciplinary environment? Are you passionate about making a difference?
We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Digital, Data, and Technology service . In this role, you will represent the project from implementation through to business as usual. You will serve as a product expert for all multidisciplinary teams across the health board, ensuring that decision-making processes are supported by the timely provision of information and expert advice and analysis across various areas.

Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the identification of new opportunities within your area of expertise.
- Liaising with senior managers across the organisation to communicate how product developments can support more effective patient care.
- Representing the department as the product expert, ensuring decision-making is supported by timely information and analysis.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria
- Postgraduate qualification or equivalent relevant experience, preferably within a digital / IT subject and/or healthcare subject area
- Evidence of continuous professional development through their career
- ITIL Foundation
Desirable criteria
- Prince2 Agile certification, or equivalent qualification
- ITIL Specialist
- In depth understanding of the product needs of Betsi Cadwaladr University NHS Trust and its Divisions
Experience
Essential criteria
- Product management experience
- Successful implementation of digital-focused business change and improvements
- Experience in supervising a multidisciplinary team of digital staff
- Understanding of NHS / Healthcare digital requirements
- Excellent understanding of translating business / functional requirements into specialist technical specifications and complex Digital systems
Desirable criteria
- Experience in taking a lead role in product development
- Experience of working in an NHS / Healthcare or Public Sector environment

- Able to communicate with staff up to a senior level on complex business or clinical processes
- Collaborate with other Product Managers, to share best practice, lessons learned etc.
- Able to organise and manage own work effectively, whilst ensuring the same organisation is applied to the team

- High quality written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage under pressure
- Ability to work under own initiative, whilst providing effective leadership both directly to own staff and to groups whilst being an effective member of a multi-disciplinary environment
