An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Instructor/ Physiotherapy Assistant to join our physiotherapy Team on a Bank Basis.
Responsibilities
- Assist physiotherapists and independently implement physiotherapy treatment programmes for patients from a designated caseload including those with complex presentations, underpinned by base level theoretical knowledge and practical experience acquired through short courses, in-house training and experience to NVQ level III or equivalent.
- Set up and support the pulmonary rehabilitation classes.
- Maintain clinical records within professional codes of practice and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy guidelines.
- Ensure a high standard of care with each patient working with all agencies and disciplines involved.
- Supervise and teach less experienced physiotherapy assistants.
- Regularly undertake and participate in evidence based projects and assist in implementing changes within designated term/area.
Qualifications and Preferences
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
