It's an exciting time for Pharmacy Technical Services (PTS) in North Wales. Through the Transforming access to medicines (TrAMS) programme, opportunities for career progression are bright.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly of products in readiness for aseptic preparation.
- Decontamination and transfer of materials into clean rooms.
- Perform in‑process volume checks as required.
- Aseptically prepare injectable medicines.
- Perform monitoring of aseptic unit.
- Stock control of materials.
- Answer phone calls and deal with straightforward queries.
- Cleaning/decontamination of isolators and clean rooms.
Qualifications:
Local training will be provided. PTS supports staff development and further opportunities may be available if aptitude and enthusiasm for the role are demonstrated. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but English is also acceptable.
The post is advertised as Band 3 Annex 21 / Band 2 depending on experience.
