Job Overview
The Operational Estates department at Wrexham Maelor Hospital is seeking a highly motivated Multi‑Skilled Building Craftsperson – Joiner. The successful candidate will be based at Wrexham Maelor Hospital but may be asked to attend sites in the community under our control. This role offers the opportunity to work within a large healthcare estate.
You will be required to assist with the maintenance of the Health Board’s property across the East. Previous qualifications and experience within a joinery role are essential. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main Duties
- Assist with maintenance and repair of joinery and wood‑working tasks across the Health Board’s properties.
- Work independently and take initiative on own work.
- Be available to work at different locations and departments under our control in the East.
Qualifications & Experience
- Completed a formal craft apprenticeship in a Building discipline.
- Preferably attained an academic qualification to NVQ Level 3 / Higher National Certificate.
- Experience in joinery and wood‑working duties.
