Responsibilities
- Repair, calibrate, plan maintenance and commission medical equipment.
- Provide advice and support to users on device functions and maintenance.
- Assist in evaluating maintenance requirements, investigating incidents, and testing equipment.
- Requisition spares and materials, accept deliveries, and book equipment following set procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical developments.
- Adapt working hours flexibly to meet service needs.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential Criteria
- Professional electronics knowledge to degree level or HNC/HND plus relevant short courses or equivalent training and experience.
- Experience in an electronics repair role.
- Experience of electronic instrumentation fault diagnosis and repair on industrial or medical equipment.
- Experience of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Desirable Criteria
- Completion of an electronics-based apprenticeship.
- Experience mentoring trainees and/or students.
- Experience working within clinical environments.
Language Requirements
Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential. English is also welcome.
