Responsibilities

You will lead, inspire, support and develop a team of Band 7 Team Leads (including the Pregnancy Weight Management Team Lead), Band 6 Dietitians, Dietetic Assistants and Administrative colleagues to ensure the service is coordinated, person-centred, and meets clinical, performance, and quality standards across the region. You will coordinate a single point of access for adult weight management referrals and offer programmes in a range of formats including video groups and in‐person sessions in leisure centres and community venues. You will work in close partnership with a commissioned digital weight management provider, integrate with the specialist weight management service and collaborate with physiotherapists linked to the orthopaedic lifestyle management programme. You will report to and be directed by the Head of Dietetics and a BCUHB Weight Management Steering Group including allied health professional leads and public health colleagues, and will also ensure coordination with All Wales developments by working with Public Health Wales and weight management service leads in other health boards.

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic Dietitian with strong leadership skills and substantial experience of working in weight management to lead our Adult Level 2 Weight Management Service across North Wales. You will need excellent communication, partnership working, service development and problem‐solving skills. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
