BCUHB are looking for a Continence Promotion Nurse to join our current Continence Staff within our Community Care Teams in Wrexham (East Area).

The post supports the delivery of safe and effective services for patients with bladder and/or bowel dysfunction.
The post is suitable for an experienced Community Staff Nurse or Acute Nurse with Urology / Colorectal care experience, wishing to develop their skills, knowledge and competencies in managing patients with Continence Care needs in a community setting.
We would be looking for someone with excellent communication / interpersonal skills, who would enjoy the challenge of further developing our current services.

Main duties of the job
Provide continence promotion care to patients with bladder and/or bowel dysfunction.
Develop and improve continence care services within the community.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and lead nurse‐led clinics.
Assess and support patients to maintain independence and improve quality of life.
