This exciting role is for a Health Care Support Worker working on a forward-thinking Learning Disability Rehabilitation Unit on the beautiful North Wales coast. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. Main duties of the job:

  • Band 3 Health Care Support Worker to work within the in-patient services at Bryn Y Neuadd Hospital.
  • The post involves caring for people with a variety of mental and physical illnesses in a Learning Disability unit, helping them gain an understanding of their condition and develop strategies to cope when discharged back into the community.
  • The post is offered on a shift basis and involves working weekend shifts.
  • The successful applicant would also be expected to work night duty on an internal rotation basis.
