THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 9 MONTHS DUE TO MATERNITY COVER.

We are currently looking for an experienced and proactive team secretary to join the MH & LD admin team at Llys Dyfrig to support the duty team. The candidate will be enthusiastic and highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Main duties of the job
- The role will be to provide a comprehensive range of secretarial and administration duties as follows:
- The position requires someone who is a team player, flexible, organised and is able to work well under pressure with the ability to use various data systems accurately.
- Work closely with primary care administrator and provide cover when necessary.
- Check multiple systems and receive referrals into the team from various agencies.
- Complete outcomes after SPoAA meeting each morning and distribute to relevant colleagues/agencies.
- This position also requires excellent communication skills, the ability to meet the demands of working in a busy environment and is able to represent the department with due professionalism.
- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Person specification
Qualifications – Essential criteria- GCSE/O Level Maths & English Grade C or above
- IT qualification or equivalent experience
- NVQ Business Administration Level 3 or equivalent knowledge & experience, or willing to work towards
- NHS continuous employment
- Welsh Speaking
- Knowledge of a range of administrative processes
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
- Proficient in use of Microsoft office applications
- Experienced in planning organising and prioritise own workload
- Flexible and adaptable to changing service demands
- Excellent organisational skills
- Minute-taking skills
