The post holder will work as an integral part of Ogwen Ward. This part-time housekeeper position supports ward management and the day-to-day running of the wards.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Ward Manager in the day-to-day running of the wards and specific tasks to meet individual patient needs as determined by the Ward Manager, Deputy Ward Manager or Nurse in Charge.
  • Be responsible for general housekeeping duties within the wards.
  • Work closely with contractors and support services, monitor quality standards, and rectify deficiencies in liaison with the Ward Managers.

Eligibility

Applications are accepted only from staff currently employed by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

Qualifications

  • Experience dealing with members of the public.
  • Desirable: Experience in a housekeeper role.
  • Desirable: Experience working for an NHS organization.
  • Desirable: Ability to speak Welsh.
