An exciting opportunity to join the team at Penrhos Stanley Hospital in Holyhead. The hospital comprises 33 beds for elderly care and rehabilitation, and a busy minor injuries unit.

Main Duties

  • Deliver a high standard of care to patients and work alongside the multidisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Provide care with a positive, patient‑focused attitude; communication skills and teamwork are essential.
  • Assist registered nurses in delivering excellent patient care.
  • Support multidisciplinary teamwork to achieve early discharge and provide ongoing support to patients receiving care in the unit.
  • Help with washing and dressing, and provide assistance with diet and fluid intake at mealtimes.
  • Assist patients with manual handling and early mobilisation as part of their rehabilitation.
  • Speak Welsh is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
