THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 12 MONTHS UNTIL JULY 2027 DUE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE. The Central Primary Care team are looking for an experienced, organised and enthusiastic Administration/Clerical Support Officer/Departmental Receptionist to work in our Health Board managed GP Practice Healthy Prestatyn Iach, Prestatyn.
Previous experience of working within a GP Practice would be beneficial and knowledge of the EMIS clinical system is desirable, however training can be given. The demands of a GP practice can change on a daily basis and therefore this role will be challenging.
Main duties of the job:
- Booking appointments and dealing with patient queries, over the phone and face to face.
- Ordering and printing repeat prescriptions.
- Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner is required.
- Proficient IT skills (including experience of Microsoft Office) is also required.
- Undertaking a variety of administrative duties, scanning, summarising, workflow and private patient income work.
- Assisting in the smooth day to day running of the practices.
- Working at other Healthy Prestatyn Iach sites in the area.
