We are looking for a Deputy Ward Manager to join our Care of the Elderly ward at Glaslyn Ward, Ysbyty Gwynedd. This is a fixed‑term / secondment position until 07/11/2026 and is only open to staff currently employed by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
The role requires commitment, a positive leadership approach and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Assist in developing and delivering high quality nursing care for older patients.
- Manage and control ward activities in an effective and efficient manner.
- Lead a team of nurses and support staff while promoting a high clinical standard.
- Serve as a role model for patient safety and staff wellbeing.
- Previous band 5 experience.
- Nurse in charge experience.
- Desirable: Ability to speak Welsh.
