The predicted salary is between 29970 - 36483 € per year.
We have a temporary Band 5 Community Nurse post working 21 hours per week in the Grove Road District Nursing Team. The post is for 9 months to cover maternity leave until 6 March 2027. The successful candidate must be a registered nurse with evidence of continued professional development, enthusiastic, able to work within a team and independently, and have awareness of the evolving role within district nursing.
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in the community.
- Work as part of the district nursing team and with other agencies to provide clinically effective care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential criteria:
- NMC registered nurse.
- Pre‑registration evidence in direct nursing care.
- Experience of providing holistic nursing care.
- Interest in developing nursing skills.
- Clear understanding of contract of care.
- Ability to document details clearly and accurately.
- Clear understanding of consent process.
- Basic IT skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Desirable criteria:
- Evidence of post‑registration study and training (e.g., POVA, Child Protection, Intermediate Life Support).
- Clear understanding of clinical governance framework.
- Implement evidence‑based practice.
- Knowledge of incident reporting policy.
- Aware of policies.
- Welsh speaking.
