Fixed term/secondment for 9 months, ending 31st December 2026. Position: Band 5 Community Nurse, 37.5 hours per week, Buckley District Nursing Team. Candidates must be NMC registered and have evidence of continued professional development. Applicants must obtain permission from their current line manager before applying.
Main Duties
- Provide quality, planned care for patients in the community.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in the community.
- Work as part of the district nursing team and collaborate with other agencies to deliver clinically effective care.
- Maintain awareness of the evolving role within District Nursing.
Qualifications
- NMC Registered
- Desirable Qualifications: Evidence of post‑registration study and training (e.g., POVA, Child Protection, Intermediate Life Support)
Experience
- Pre‑registration evidence in direct nursing care.
- Experience of providing holistic nursing care.

- Desirable Experience: Clear understanding of clinical governance framework.
