We currently have opportunities in our Domestic Services Department for flexible, enthusiastic, motivated individuals. The team ensures environmental cleanliness standards are maintained at the Saltney Clinic site. Previous cleaning industry experience is beneficial but not essential; on‑job training will be provided.
Pay: £13.48 per hour. 5 hours per week, minimum 2 days per week between Monday and Friday. Working times and days are subject to agreement.
Benefits: paid holiday entitlement, enhanced weekend pay, opportunity to join the Superannuation Pension Scheme.
Main Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, furnishings, and surfaces, removing marks from walls, partitions, and doors in accordance with set methods, standards, and frequencies.
- Operate cleaning equipment, including electrical items, to achieve specified cleanliness standards.
- Handle refuse for disposal.
- Replenish supplies of paper hand towels, toilet tissue, soap, and hand moisturiser as required.
- Monitor stocks of cleaning materials and request supplies as necessary.
- Organise own daily workload within scheduling guidelines to ensure all tasks are completed to standard.
- Complete documentation to record ‘full clean’ completion.
- Understand and apply specified cleaning methods and frequencies.
- Communicate with Domestic Supervisors, patients, visitors, ward and departmental staff to achieve specified cleanliness standards.
- Ensure compliance with Board and departmental policies, procedures and good practices.
Language Requirement: Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are welcome.
