The Catering Department at Wrexham Maelor Hospital provides meals, snacks and beverages to patients, staff and visitors. The Catering Supervisor is a key member of the team with responsibility for carrying a range of duties related to food production and service in a busy kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision of staff
- Ensure a clean, safe environment is maintained
- Work closely with the Catering Coordinator and managers to ensure that Catering services meet relevant nutritional and dietary requirements arising from clinical, religious and cultural needs
- Work unsupervised and maintain a flexible approach to shift alterations
Qualifications and Skills
- Good teamwork, leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Self-motivated with a friendly and professional approach
Working hours are between 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Rate of pay: £12.53 enhanced; weekends Saturday £16.86 and Sunday £21.18. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
