We are seeking skilled and motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapists to join our Bank OT workforce within the central area of BCUHB. This flexible role offers weekday opportunities (Monday‑Friday) and the chance to support a variety of services depending on demand. As a Bank OT, you may be offered work across:

  • Community services
  • Acute and community hospital settings
  • Mental health services

Bank work is allocated according to service need, and we welcome applicants who prefer to work within a single clinical area. You can advise us of a preference at interview. Interviews will be held face to face only.

Main duties of the job: This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your clinical experience, maintain specialist skills, and contribute to high-quality care across BCUHB. The successful applicant will be expected to have autonomous management of a specialist caseload, including patients with complex needs across hospital, clinic, community, and home settings. If you are adaptable, confident in your clinical reasoning, and committed to delivering person‑centred practice, we would be delighted to receive your application. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
