The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and cooperatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.

Assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other staff members.

Main duties of the job

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales NHS: Recruiting for Registered Nurses to join our Nurse Bank in North Wales within District General Hospitals and Community Hospitals.

Job responsibilities

The role requires delivering high quality nursing care and supporting the staffing needs of our hospitals, including implementing evidence-based practice, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and ensuring compliance with clinical governance and incident reporting policies.

Person Specification

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • NMC Registered
  • Evidence of post registration study and training, e.g. POVA, Child Protection, Immediate Life Support (ILS) if required in clinical setting

Experience

  • Experience of providing holistic nursing care
  • Clear understanding of clinical governance framework
  • Implement evidence based practice

Skills and Competencies

  • Clear understanding of contract of care
  • Ability to document details clearly and accurately
  • Clear understanding of consent process
  • Basic IT skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of incident reporting policy
  • Welsh speaker

Salary: £32,557 to £39,631 a year pro rata
