Patient Records Data Quality & Scanning Officer
An opportunity to support the Patient Records service by organising day‑to‑day operations of the DHR and/or paper to provide a high‑quality, efficient, effective service that supports patient care and investigation.
Welsh speaking is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are welcomed.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be expected to work flexible hours on a planned basis to support staff working outside core hours who require support with the DHR.
Ensure policies and procedures are followed in compliance with Information Governance (IG) and the Patient Records Management Procedure, meeting objectives to provide a high‑quality, efficient and effective service. Follow organisational core values and behaviours, departmental policies and objectives to provide a high‑quality, efficient and effective service adhering to minimum standards and KSF outlines.
Qualifications and Knowledge
- Ability to use own initiative, organise workloads and delegate duties
- Knowledge of principles of confidentiality
- Evidence of continual professional development
- Knowledge of NHS Records Management legislation
Experience
- Experience of working with Microsoft packages
- Experience of leading and negotiating a team
- NHS experience

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
£26,813 to £27,890 a year pro rata.
