The overall purpose of the job is to work as part of a team and be committed to taking part in providing the best quality catering service to patients and staff within the Trust.

Main Duties of the Job:

  • Department working hours are predominantly between 7.00am to 21.00pm, which will involve some weekend work and various shift patterns including early and late shifts as the service requires.
  • The pay rate will increase for all hours worked on a Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.
  • You must have good communication skills, as you will be working within the kitchen and serving food at ward level.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to work flexibly and on their own initiative.
  • You will hold a current level 2 food hygiene certificate, or be willing to work towards this qualification.
  • Catering experience is essential for this post.
  • The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
