Theatres Central are looking for highly motivated, dedicated and suitably qualified Band 6 Deputy Team Leader for Scrub. The post holder will demonstrate advanced specialist practice, undertaking planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients throughout the peri-operative pathway.
Ysbyty Abergele is an elective unit located in the beautiful county of Denbighshire, with close access to the main route in and out of North Wales (A55) providing excellent links to the Snowdonia National Park and the Llyn Peninsula. Abergele comprises of 2 elective Orthopaedic Theatres carrying out major hip and knee arthroplasty. The Orthopaedic Theatres will soon be moving to Llandudno Hospital to a purpose-built Orthopaedic Arthroplasty Hub. It will be a brand new, state of the art Theatre Suite accommodating patients from across the whole of North Wales.
The post holder will be responsible for the quality of care delivered within the clinical area, empowering and enabling the peri-operative team. You will provide expert advice and support for other healthcare professionals and agencies and will deputise for the Team Leader where required. This post is for a scrub role; however, it would be an advantage to hold a dual role qualification in anaesthetics. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
