Fixed term Contract for 12 months. Variable working pattern to meet needs of service. Work will include weekend/evenings where needed. 30 hours per week at £12.21 per hour.

We are looking for someone who shares Bethphage's values, has good people skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including those we support and their family members as well as members of the public. The successful candidate will ideally have experience with animals or a farm setting. You will need to work effectively within the team, flexible to work 30 hours as rostered by the team leader or service manager. This is ideal for someone that enjoys a rewarding and varied role; every day is different! There are a variety of farming and horticultural tasks.

The job role will involve supporting individuals with learning disabilities; confidence in an educational setting would also be desirable. You will assist with transport, which requires confidence with driving a minibus in rural locations. We are looking for someone with a mix of practical skills but who is also familiar with technology. Experience working to high standards of health and safety and infection control policies and procedures is crucial. It is a unique role and you must be willing to get your hands dirty!

About You:

Essential Requirements:

  • Driver with UK manual licence (to include minibus) and own vehicle
  • Need to be adaptable
  • Maths / English, min Level 2
  • Good IT knowledge/skills/systems

Desirable Requirements:

  • HSC Level 2 Diploma or similar
  • Farming/agricultural/horticultural experience highly desirable
  • Qualification within Health and Social Care desirable
  • Qualifications such as trailer license and working with machinery are highly desirable
