We have an exciting new opportunity in the Market Drayton and Whitchurch area for a Service Manager who can share in Bethphage's values.
As the Service Manager will provide high quality support to adults with learning disabilities, who require support with their mental health and Autism, ensuring they are supported to develop and maintain independence, take part in community activities, leisure, education and work opportunities in a person-centred way.
The role will involve you leading the day-to-day management of three 24/7 supported living services and five small weekly hour services (outreach), providing effective management for nine people with learning disabilities, who requires support with their mental health and Autism. You will ensure your teams provide high quality support.
The ideal person will be an experienced health and social care worker with a Level 3 qualification, a good communicator, able to network and work with people at all levels. You should be confident and knowledgeable of the sector, able to get on with the role and deal with issues, knowing when to seek help and advice. You will be able to use IT & different systems, write legibly and have significant experience of positive behaviour support.
Candidates who do not have a level 4/5 qualification but are prepared to work towards this will be considered, so long as they have suitable supervisory experience and professional knowledge in the sector, ideally in learning disability.
*The role will involve participating in the out of hours on call rota.
