The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

Female only Full & Part-Time posts (37.5 hours per week) £12.39 per hour plus £63 for sleep-in duties, average 1-2 per month. Joining bonus £1000 (T&C's £500 on completion of probation, £500 on completion of 12 months).

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to support young adults to reach their full potential. Ruckley supports eight young adults in a semi-independent community home, approx seven miles south of Shrewsbury. Each person has their own bedroom, bathroom and each pair shares a kitchen. There is also a large communal area used as a Hub for shared meals and activities.

The successful candidate must be able to promote the inclusion of people with Autism, learning and physical disabilities, and to engage in the wider community. Personal Care is required in this service.

This is an opportunity to work within a diverse team and enhance the lives of our supported people. We need an energetic and enthusiastic new addition to our team, someone who is passionate.

About You:

Essential Requirements:

  • Driver with UK manual licence for at least 1 year and own vehicle
  • Passionate about supporting people to live a happy and fulfilled life
  • Good communication skills and able to listen
  • Be patient
  • Able to work with families and communicate effectively to family members
  • Promote independence and daily living skills
  • Good IT knowledge/skills/systems
  • Be able to work using their own initiative and without constant supervision

Desirable Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with Positive Behaviour support
