- What you'll be doing
- Providing excellent customer service to library users and visitors.
- Issuing, returning and managing library materials while supporting stock maintenance.
- Helping customers access books, resources, computers, and digital services.
- Supporting and promoting library events, and community activities.
- Signposting people to local services, support networks and opportunities available within the community hub.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for everyone.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers, schools, community groups and partner organisations.
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, security and data protection procedures.

- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Enjoys engaging with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Organised, reliable and able to work as part of a team. (Essential)
