The Role

As a Senior Estimator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the business to secure new work. Main duties will include:

  • Preparing detailed, analytical estimates from first principles.
  • Reviewing tender documents, assessing scope, and taking off accurate quantities.
  • Compiling comprehensive enquiries for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensuring bids are submitted professionally and in line with ITT instructions.
  • Collaborating with the Estimating team to deliver winning proposals.

What we are looking For

Essential:

  • Minimum HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in estimating within civil engineering (infrastructure, wastewater, highways, FRC).
  • At least 5 years’ on-site experience in Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in estimating software (Valesco, Causeway, Conquest, Candy).
  • Strong financial and commercial management skills.
  • Solid knowledge of CESMM, HWMM, SMM7 and NEC contracts.
