Bethany is a vibrant and forward-thinking co-ed independent day and boarding School, for 11 – 18 year olds.
As part of our examinations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring examinations run smoothly and fairly. You will support pupils by invigilating examinations and, where required, providing approved access arrangements, including acting as a reader or scribe.
Key Responsibilities
- Invigilating internal and external examinations in accordance with examination regulations.
- Assisting with examination room preparation and set-up.
- Supporting candidates through approved access arrangements.
- Reading examination papers and questions accurately when acting as a reader.
- Recording candidates’ dictated responses accurately when acting as a scribe.
- Supervising pupils during rest breaks and ensuring examination conditions are maintained.
- Providing a calm, professional and positive environment for pupil.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Possesses strong IT skills and confidence using word processing software.
- Has clear and legible handwriting.
- Is reliable, flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Enjoys working with young people and supporting their success.
- Can maintain confidentiality and uphold examination regulations at all times.
