Role
The Rapid Re-accommodation Welcome Centre provides emergency accommodation with support to anyone who would otherwise be rough sleeping in Edinburgh.
We are looking for a Senior Team Leader to assist the Project Manager in organising and running the Welcome Centre, maintaining it as a safe environment for guests, and providing hands‑on support to the team across all aspects of the service. The Senior Team Leader play an active role in monitoring RRWC systems and spreadsheets, with a goal of supporting guests onto positive follow‑on accommodation.

This is a fixed-term, part‑time post ending on 31 March 2027.
We are looking for candidates with the following knowledge, skills and experience:
- Experience working with vulnerable and homeless people
- An understanding of mental health and addiction issues
- Ability to deal appropriately with challenging behaviour
- An SVQ level 3 in Care/Promoting Independence or equivalent is desirable
- Administrative skills and experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to respond to a changing environment
- Ability to maintain clear & accurate records

Salary Range: £30,122 – £31,733 gross per annum
Contract: Part-time (30 hours per week), Fixed Term (Ends on 31 March 2027)
Holiday entitlement: 225 hours per year, pro rata
