This staff position will have an impact on improving patient safety by providing excellent mentoring and training of clinical staff in the first week of training and orientation in the Clinical Assistant Training Program (CATP).

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a state-approved and/or accredited RN program required.
  • Valid State of Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
  • Preferred: BSN strongly encouraged.

Work Experience:

  • At least two years in clinical nursing.
  • Experience as a preceptor or trainer.
  • Preferred: At least two years of health education.

LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Basic Life Support.

As part of the Center for Healthy Living team, you will provide:

  • Training and mentoring to clinical assistant (CA) trainees on patient care, which may include personal hygiene tasks with a patient, proper lifting, and checking vital signs on the clinical site.
  • Evaluations regarding trainees' abilities.
  • A teaching style to meet the needs of the trainees.
  • Collaboration with other Nurse Aide Training Specialists and Training Assistants to keep class content consistent.

Pay Range: $34.56 - $86.53. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
